About Product Atlas

Product Atlas is a free, interactive map of Product Hunt launches. Explore the day's products as a living canvas — group them by category, search by idea, and compare any launch against its closest competitors.

Hi, I'm Dovydas. I've been a software engineer for over ten years, and I've always been into the startup world. Most mornings start the same way for me: catching up on the news and scrolling through the latest launches on Hacker News and Product Hunt.

I built Product Atlas to make those Product Hunt launches easier to preview. I wanted a way to switch between categories, see the broader picture of the day instead of going through one post at a time, and a quick way to navigate and compare products with other launches.

As a founder myself, I hope it helps you find some inspiration and stay in the loop more easily, the way it has for me.

If you want to reach out, have ideas or found a bug, please email me at [email protected], or find me on LinkedIn or X.

Features

  • An interactive map of launches

Every Product Hunt launch laid out as a bubble you can pan, zoom and explore — the whole day at a glance instead of one post at a time.

  • Group and filter by category

Cluster products into category discs, then narrow by minimum upvotes and time window to focus on what matters.

  • Semantic search

Search by idea, not just keywords — results are ranked by meaning, so 'AI code review' surfaces the right products even when they word it differently.

  • Related & competing products

Open any product to see its closest neighbours, classified as direct competitors, adjacent, complementary or same-space.

  • A daily summary

A generated digest of the day's most notable launches, refreshed every morning.

  • Connect via MCP

Explore the catalog straight from your AI assistant, IDE or agent through the Product Atlas MCP server.

Frequently asked questions

Does Product Atlas cost money?
No. Product Atlas is completely free to use — there's no account, no paywall and no sign-up. Just open it and explore.
Where does the data come from?
Every launch comes from public Product Hunt data, enriched with related discussion from Hacker News and Y Combinator. Product Atlas doesn't host or sell any of it.
How often is it updated?
New launches are imported daily, and a fresh summary of the day's most notable products is generated each morning (UTC).
Can I use it with Claude or other AI assistants?
Yes. Product Atlas exposes an MCP server so AI assistants, IDEs and agents can search and inspect launches as tools. See the MCP guide
Do you track me or use cookies?
No personal tracking and no cookies. Anonymous, privacy-friendly analytics (Fathom) count visits only — nothing identifies you.
How are 'related products' chosen?
Each product is turned into a vector embedding from its description; the closest matches are precomputed and classified by how directly they relate.
